Porsche Design Chronograph 1 by Orfina, with Valjoux 7750, from circa 1974/75.
This configuration with the Valjoux 7750, 500 units Tachymeter and dial signed with "pd" and "PORSCHE DESIGN" is quite rare.
The watch is in really good condition, cosmetically and mechanically. The coating looks excellent, only on the clasp it´s worn. At least you can desk dive with it and don´t have to worry :D Finding these watches with such a well preserved original coating and all original parts is really difficult nowadays. Often times you´ll find aftermaket or fake crowns, bracelets etc.
The bracelet will fit wrists up to circa 18.5 cm.
In March 2025 the watch has been fully serviced by Orfina in Switzerland, where a brand new movement has been installed. The original day- and date wheel as well as the winding rotor have been transplanted to the new movement. It also got a new crystal, crown and hands with lume matched to the original dial.
