Nomos Tangente 35 "Lange Dial". With a dial design inspired - like the name suggests - by old Lange Dials. Having been produced only for a few years, from the mid to late 90s, this model is hard to find nowadays. In the 90s Nomos used unsigned crowns, only in 1998 they introduced signed crowns. Judging from the sales date of other Tangentes with serial numbers in the same range, this example must be from 1998, before the introduction of signed crowns. We have a signed crown in stock which we can put on the watch if you like.
The watch is in good condition, the case only has some really fine scratches, unavoidable on these highly polished watches. The dial and hands are immaculate.
The case back has large engraving which roughly translates to "For your 50th birthday - G&P".
So to Günther and Petra out there if you know a watch enthusiast who is turning 50, this is the perfect present!
Jokes aside, I actually think it works thogether with the other engravings on the case back if you look at is as a whole. Theoretically it could be covered up with laser welding but I think it really looks kind of cool.
The watch comes on a brand new leather strap made in Germany, with the original Nomos pin buckle and Nomos screw pins. Also a Nomos service case is included.
The service history is unknown but the movement is running really well. At full wind the amplitude is 292° and the beat error 0.1 ms. The daily deviation is around 5 seconds.
